Updates
Release notes and service notices for Budget-Time. We keep entries brief; if something needs action on your part, it will say so clearly. Questions? Email [email protected].
Chase is adding a connection expiration choice. Starting late August, Chase asks its customers to choose how long a bank connection lasts when linking: 6 months, 1 year, or always. This is a Chase-wide change affecting every app that connects to Chase, not just Budget-Time.
- What we recommend: choose "Always" when linking a Chase account so your syncing never pauses.
- If you pick a shorter window, syncing stops when it expires until you reconnect (open the sidebar and click Reconnect). Your existing transactions are never affected.
- You can change your choice anytime in the Chase Security Center.
- Existing connections are unaffected today; the earliest expirations would occur about 6 months after linking under the new flow. We will notify you by email before a connection is due to expire.
Subscriptions finder v2: recurring charges now show active/inactive status, last and previous charge, price-change tracking, and an estimated annual total. It also learns from your own category edits.
Rewrote the Privacy Policy in plain English (with a technical appendix). Fixed several broken-link and error-page issues on the website.
Subscriptions finder launched. Daily overnight autofetch is now on by default (opt out anytime), and a new Quick Start walks you through setup step by step.
Sidebar redesign with a Dashboard Wizard and welcome tour. Faster syncing and automatic duplicate cleanup.
Sheet design overhaul: a new Dashboard layout and a tab organizer to keep your spreadsheet tidy.
Budget Wizard v2 with per-category breakdowns, modernized categories, and email alerts when a bank connection needs attention. Fixed unreadable credit amounts in Dark Mode.
Budget Wizard, Debt Payoff planner, and Payments tracker. Added header protection so formulas keep working even if a header row is edited by mistake.
Budget-Time launch: new name, new tabbed sidebar, and 12 spreadsheet themes.
